Britigan, Margery E. age 96, died on January 9, 2016. Margery was born in Roseau, MN on May 25, 1919, the 2nd of 8 siblings, to Hattie and Andrew Sunset. She taught school in a one room schoolhouse and then later left home to pursue a career as a secretary at Minneapolis Moline. It was there she met and married Howard and kept a wonderful home and raised their 2 children. Everyone remembers her as a marvelous cook who spent hours in the kitchen preparing everyone's favorites. She was also a seamstress, loved to garden, was an avid reader, played golf and taught many of us to play Bridge, Hearts, Whist and Gin Rummy! Margery was preceded in death by her husband, Howard and her son, Michael. She is survived by her daughter, Sally Lingenfelter and husband, Marc, of Rio Rancho, NM; sister, Grace of Tacoma, WA; grandchildren, Haley McAdams and husband, Jay; Craig Nelson, Eric Britigan and her 2 great-grandchildren, Quinn Rose and Braeden James. Margery was active in Woodlake Lutheran Church and enjoyed many friendships at York Place. She will be laid to rest with Howard at Lakewood Cemetery.
