Forrest, Norrine Estelle (Pierson) "Nor" age 81 of Mound passed away 11/25/2015. Norrine grew up in Golden Valley and graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1952. She worked as a waitress at the Hopkins House and Happy Garden Restaurant for a combined 60 years. She loved working in her large garden and taking care of her fruit trees, making jams, canning tomatoes and shared the fruits of her labor with family, friends and neighbors. Norrine enjoyed the MN Twins, horse racing and hosting the Holiday gatherings at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents Nels and Leona Pierson. Survived by her children, Bob (Patti-gene), Tami, Becky and Keith; grandchildren, Cassie, Theresa, Joshua, Stephen, Jill (Bruce), Joseph (Erica), Jacob, Tanya (Blake) and Rose; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; siblings, Jack, Gail and Nels Pierson and many nieces, nephews and their families. Norrine was loved by many. Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday (12/5) at Bethel United Methodist Church, 2116 Commerce Blvd. Mound with visitation one hour prior to service at CHURCH.
