Annis, James William Age 78. Jim was originally from Mapleton, MN, later Mound, MN, and finally Sunnyvale, CA where he passed away peacefully in his sleep early Sunday morning November 8th, 2015. Jim was a beloved and respected elementary school teacher in the Mound Westonka School District for over 30 years were he touched the lives of hundreds of students. He was an avid fisherman, sports enthusiast, a life-long antique dealer, and a faithful member of the Lutheran church. Jim led a full and active life right up until his passing. Jim will be missed by all he met throughout his life, but he will be missed most by his family. Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marlys. He is also survived by his son Michael, daughter-in-law Ioana, and their two children Anthony and Francesca; and survived by his daughter Jessica and her two children Indigo and Adeline. Memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2451 Fairview Lane, Mound, MN.
