Hamilton, Gladys Cecelia 95, formerly of Fisher, MN, and Sun City, AZ, died on Friday, October 2, 2015. She was a mother, grand-mother, great-grandmother, and best friend. She was a poet, artist, sculptor, and a writer of fairy tales, short stories and two books of poems. She started singing as a child with her sisters and mother and performed with her daughter, Pat, at an annual Christmas concert in Beaver Creek, Colorado. She taught herself to sew, knit, upholster, use the computer and had her own website. She had macular degeneration for 35 years and was legally blind, but saw the world as a bright and joyful home. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas; six sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughters, Gail (John C) Burrill, Jean Marie (Brian Osberg) Hamilton, and Pat (David) Haakenson; grandchildren, John D. (Janet Braisted) Burrill, Matthew (Donnelle Roberts) Burrill, and Hilary Haakenson; great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Jacob Burrill and Brady Burrill and T. J. Roberts.
