Wood, Sharon Lee (Michelson) Age 78 of Victoria, Minnesota formerly of Tonka Bay passed away peacefully at home. Preceded in death by husband, Ronald J. Wood. Survived by children, Michael (Stacy) Wood of Edina, Marjorie Briese of Victoria, MN and Matthew Wood of Victoria, MN; grandchildren, Steve Casciaro, Christine (Wood) & Scott Loving and Jessica Wood, Benjamin and Samuel Briese, Jaramie and Jaimie Wood; great granddaughter, Harriet Loving and other relatives and many friends. Sharon loved her family, friends, knitting and playing cards with the bridge club or solitaire. Her 1 1/2 year journey with ovarian cancer was managed with dignity, pride, & grace. Her quick wit, humor, & laughter helped all of us cope with her disease. Special thanks to the staff of Minnesota Oncology, The Mayo Clinic, friends and neighbors for all of you who loved and supported Sharon. Memorial service Saturday (10/10) at 11 AM at Huber Funeral Home Chapel, 520 2nd St, Excelsior with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. A celebration of Sharon's life immediately following the service 12:30 PM, at Edina Country Club 5100 Wooddale Ave. South, Edina MN. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
