Schotzko, Lee Gilbert age 45. Born in Blue Earth, MN. He peacefully passed away due to complications from cancer on Oct 1, 2015 surrounded by family in his home in Afton, MN. Lee was a Physician Assistant at Regions Hospital in orthopedics. Prior, he sampled life in many jobs including First Avenue in Minneapolis, Midwest Mountaineering, limnology research at Lake Itaska and Lake Superior, and volunteered in California to help save the condors. He was an outdoor adventurer who climbed mountains, loved the BWCA, fishing, ice climbing on the North Shore and camping with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Andrea; children, Gilbert, 9, and Hattie, 7; mother, Judith Schotzko; siblings, Clay Schotzko, Jonna Math and Molly Halls, extended family, and friends. His father, John Schotzko, precedes him in death. Memorial Service Friday, Oct 9 at Afton Alps, Highlands Chalet at 6 pm, doors open at 5 pm.
