LeRoy 'Mickey' Bosak LeRoy 'Mickey' Bosak

Bosak, LeRoy "Mickey" age 87 of Savage, formerly of Bloomington, died January 15, 2020. Mick was born to Josef and Helen Bosak on their farm near Frederic, WI. He moved to Mpls to drive truck and later attended Dunwoody Institute to become an electrician. He served in the Korean War as an Army Truck Driver. He returned to Mpls where he met his wife of 63 years, Beverly. Both Mick and Bev loved to camp and ride motorcycles. They belonged to several camping clubs and traveled the US with their kids and friends. Mick was a member of the Wild Prairie Harley Davidson Hog Chapter, the Midweek Riders, and was a long time AMA Representative and Congressman. He was well known at Wild Prairie Harley Davidson in Eden Prairie and loved going to the Sturgis, SD bike rally. Mick, his son, Shannon and granddaughter, Katie participated in a Rolling Thunder motorycyle trip to Washington, DC. One of his best memories was his trip to Washington, DC with Honor Flight which takes veterans free of charge to view the memorials. Mick was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Kim Kreisel; and sister, Ruthie Fagerstrom. He is survived by his son, Shannon (Nancy) Bosak; grandchildren, Megan (Tim) Smitley, Katie (Geoffrey) Rotunda, Joe Bosak, Sam Kreisel, 3 great- grandsons, Mason and Dillon Smitley and Austin Rotunda; brother, John (Faye) Bosak; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Honor Flight Inc., 175 S. Tuttle Road, Springfield, OH 45505.
