Pearson, John "Johnny" William Age 89, of New Hope, passed away peacefully at home on November 13, 2019. He was born in Superior, WI on February 5, 1930 to Cameron and Josephine Pearson. He grew up in Superior, WI and left to serve the Army in combat in the Korean War. Upon his return, he hired on to the Soo Line Railroad and spent 43 years with them, retiring as a seasoned locomotive engineer. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda; son, Tim; and four siblings. Lovingly survived by brother, Tom Pearson; daughters, Gail Lambert (John), Kathy Sharp, Linda Folstad (Joel), Jeanne Sharp, Terri Thibodeau; and son, Wallace Sharp (Jan). Johnny was further blessed with 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express our gratitude to "Kiki" for her care and assistance. Visitation is scheduled for 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 19 at The Church of St. Raphael (7301 Bass Lake Rd, Crystal), with mass to follow at 11:30.
