Johnson, Carol J. (Rood) Age 94 of Arden Hills, formerly St. Anthony Village, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2019 surounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her parents, Clifford and Hazel; her brother, Calvin and infant daughter. She is survived by her brother, Doug (Vi) Rood; sons, David (Corinne) and Dale (Mary); grandchildren, Angela (Brian) Lund, Brandon (Nicole), Danielle (Ryan) Banasek, Christine; two infant great-granchildren to-be; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was born February 5, 1925 in South Minneapolis, graduated from Roosevelt High School and worked at 1st National Bank as a comptometer/bookkeeper until motherhood called her in 1951. What gave her the most joy in life was her family and close friends. She loved to entertain both at home and the cabin. She was a consummate cook and baker. She was a lady of style and grace, beauty inside and out. She was kind, gentle and sweet to everyone she met. Holidays, birthdays, graduations were always special to her. She will be missed by all the lives she touched. We would like to thank those many people who gave Carol such loving support and care during her illness.
