Kmetz, Laura Margaret passed on August 17th at the age of 92 . She is survived by children Douglas, (Sue) Keith, (Paula) Brad, (Dawn) and Wendy Kochar (John); 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She also has 3 surviving sisters Anne, Alvina, and Bev. Preceded in death by parents Adolph and Rita Barber; husband Duaine (divorced); daughter Barbie; grandson Scott; 3 sisters Mary, Ruth, and Alberta, and a brother, Frank who was killed in action in WW2. She was born in Renville MN and grew up during the great depression. She was always welcoming to everyone and a wonderful person to be with. A celebration of her life picnic is planned for noon to three on Saturday, Sept. 14th at Sue and Doug's home. Lunch will be served and we'd love to see as many family and friends who can make it. Memorials are preferred to the Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
