Farquhar, Janifer Overpeck 75, of Tucson, AZ (formerly Plymouth, MN) passed away January 18, 2019. Preceded in death by her parents Lem and Helen Overpeck. She is survived by her husband Grant, son Jeffrey (Renata) and daughter Sara (John); grandchildren Owen, Paige, Thomas and Hanna. Janifer graduated from Belle Fourche High School and went on to the University of South Dakota where she graduated with a BS in History in 1965. She moved to Ann Arbor, MI meeting her husband, Grant, and earning a master's degree in History at Eastern Michigan University. After several moves her family settled down in Plymouth, MN, where she taught Government and History at Wayzata Schools. After retiring, Grant and Janifer retired to Tucson where she was active in dancing and genealogy. Janifer loved her children deeply and totally. She was overjoyed with the birth of her grandchildren and would have so enjoyed watching them grow. A private memorial will be held February 24th in Tucson. We will miss a genuinely beautiful person on the inside and out.
