Bogan, Shannon Patricia Vibrant, vivacious, passionate, loving, beautiful, compassionate, intense, laid back, ready to take on the world! Shannon Patricia Bogan, age 49, departed this beautiful world on Sunday, June 17, 2018. Born in San Antonio, Texas, the first child of Bonnie and George Griffiths, Shannon graduated high school from the Academy of the Holy Angels in Richfield, MN, earned her B.A. from Loyola University in Chicago, IL and her M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. Shannon described herself as a wife, mom, Teslaholic, Fashionista, and fiercely loyal friend. She was more than that, and words alone will never suffice to describe how much she loved her family and her friends, and how much joy she brought to everyone she met. To say she will be missed is a massive understatement. Survivors include her loyal and loving husband, Jeff, and the love of her life, her only son Seamus. Other survivors include her father George Griffiths III, her brother, George Byron Griffiths, her sister Amy Kathleen Griffiths, her sister-in-law Patricia Ann Kammer, her nephew Robert E. Compton, her niece Erin E. Kammer, many relatives and a countless number of friends. A Celebration of Life will be held in an open-house format on Saturday, June 30, 2018, from 2-5pm at Hickory Tavern in Steele Creek, Charlotte, NC. Remarks will be made around approximately 3:30 pm. A separate service will be held in the future in Minneapolis, MN. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials and donations be made in her name to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, afsp.org/take-action/ give-a-gift/
