Gigerich, Duncan L. Age 19 of Wayzata and Mpls passed away peacefully after battling injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Survived by parents, Kristy Dirk and David Gigerich; siblings, Dirk, Addie and Miles; grandparents John Gigerich, Patrick and Mary Dirk, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Preceded in death by grandmother Margaret Gigerich. Duncan was a 2017 graduate of Minnetonka High School. He had just returned from the adventure of a lifetime, a NOLS semester in New Zealand where he was mountaineering, back packing, and sea kayaking. He loved adventure, the more extreme the better! Everyone who met Duncan left feeling his warm smile and incredible loving nature. Memorial Service 1pm Sat. June 16th at the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 50th and Wooddale Ave. S., Edina.
