Piechowski, Virginia May "Ginny" (nee Kiefer) 1939-2018. Virginia May (Kiefer) Piechowski, 79 of Saint Michael MN, died peacefully at home in her sleep Monday May 14, 2018 after spending a lovely Mother's Day with family. Virginia and her twin Sister Valerie were born in Portage WI to Vern & Ruth (Lambrecht) Kiefer. The family lived near Dalton, WI and she was a graduate of Cambria High School in 1956. Virginia married the love of her life William "Bill" Piechowski on January 25, 1958. Virginia is survived by her husband of 60 years Bill of St. Michael, MN and sons Anthony (Sylvia) Piechowski of Citrus Heights, CA & Edward Piechowski of Saint Paul, MN. She is preceded in death by her twin sister Valerie (Kiefer) Gorsuch, son William Vern Piechowski, and daughter Tammy May Dressler. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Dougherty for her years of professionalism & kindness, Dr. Kim and all the attending physicians from the Metropolitan Heart Vascular Institute, Dr. Kevin Zhang from Fairview Clinics, as well as the spiritual leadership of Rev. Les Feldman.
