Ackelson, James J. Aug. 17, 1967 - Apr. 23, 2018 James Julian Ackelson, 50, of Eagan, MN passed away in his sleep on Monday, April 23, 2018. Preceded in death by daughter, Katharine Suzanne; grandparents, Mary Ackelson, Bud and Lou Brown; and aunt, Dr. Jean Brown Wetterlin. Survived by son, Landon; parents, John and Mary Lou; brother, John; uncle, Jim Brown; aunt, Dr. Katherine Flesia; nieces, cousins, and countless friends. Dr. James was owner of Care Chiropractic in Eagan, MN and co-founder of the Metropolitan in Edina, MN. James loved hopping a last minute flight and traveling the world. If he wasn't on a plane or exploring far off places, he could be found at the cabin. He had a passion for his work, always researching ways to improve his patient's well-being.
