Mark Duane Solsback

Solsback, Mark Duane age 55, of Loretto. Born July 2, 1962, left us for the greener pastures of glory in the early morning of March 19. He leaves behind his wife Pam, the true loves of his life, daughters Emma (18) and Abigail (16). Also survived by his mother, Elaine (Jim, deceased) Brother, Brad and sister Kim (David) Brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Darla Swanson, niece Hannah, nephew John and mother-in-law, Gloria Swanson. Mark grew up in the Lake Minnetonka area causing trouble and a ruckus everywhere he went. He lived life hard and fast, enjoying skiing, boating, and hunting. Things slowed down for him in 2005 after a car accident left him with a TBI. He never lost his smile or the twinkle in his beautiful blue eyes. He never felt sorry for himself even when battling cancer since 2017 which finally took him. He loved his wife and daughters more than anything and we find comfort knowing he and his beloved lab Rigby are getting ready to go duck hunting for eternity. He'll probably ask Jesus if he wants to go but Marky will insist on driving the boat. That's just who he was. Rest now our beloved, our friend. Visitation, Tues. March 27, 4-7 PM at Rettinger Funeral Home, 425 Lake St. Long Lake. Memorial Service 11:00 AM Wed. March 28, with visitation 1 hour prior to service at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2060 Co. Rd. 6, Long Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family. Rettinger Funeral Home Long Lake~Orono 952-473-6954
