Freeberg, Raymond Victor Age 92 passed away March 10, 2018 and is now happily reunited with his wife, Doris. Ray was born in Little Sauk and had a full, active life keeping his family entertained until the end, and baking them the best strawberry pies ever! Survived by daughters, Roxy (Steve) Ripken and Sherry (Robert) Pankratz, grandchildren, Chris, Eric (Erica), Matthew (Alecia), Tim (Shauna) and Ryan (Becca); 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Floy Meier, Vera Peterson and sister-in-law, Betty Lovejoy; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 72 years, Doris, parents Conrad and Myra, brother Art, and sisters Myrtle, Marian and Elda. Ray was on the USS Buckthorn as a Seaman 1c during World War II. His career was owning an auto body repair shop and as an Insurance Adjuster for Am Family Ins. He and mom spent their retirement winters in Texas and loved going to their cabin. Memorial service Wednesday, March 28, 11:00 AM, House of Hope Lutheran Church, 4800 Boone Ave No., New Hope. Interment Hillside Cemetery with Honor Guard.
