Sandfort, Larry was born May 15, 1941 in Baldwin, WI. He grew up on a dairy farm and enjoyed fieldwork, especially driving a John Deere. After graduation he continued his education at Dunwoody Institute. He enjoyed a rewarding career with IBM as a Customer Engineer. June 5, 1965 he married Marion Hofman. Larry will be missed by his wife and best friend Marion; daughter Sherri and husband. Dominique and grandsons Luc, Paul, and Jacques Sémon; son Curt and wife Kristen & granddaughters Alexandra and Lauren Sandfort; sister Rosalie and husband (and great friend) Murray Lestrud; cousins and a lot of friends. A fall on the ice February 27, 2018 caused a traumatic brain injury. Thank you to the physicians, nurses and chaplains for the loving care he and the family received at at HCMC. March 8, 2018 he entered his heavenly home. March 29, 2018 burial will be at the Baldwin Cemetery in WI, and A Celebration of Life at 2:00pm at Calvary Church, 5300 France Ave. S., Edina, MN. Following worship, there will be a time of visiting with the family and sharing "Larry stories". In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials designated to MN Teen and Adult Challenge, Calvin Christian School, VEAP, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
