Nyberg, Raymond William Age 83, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Ray was born in Minneapolis on Sept. 7, 1934, to Eric Gunnar Nyberg and Daisy Marian (Nord-quist) Nyberg. Ray was raised and went to school in St. Louis Park, Minn. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's of Science degree in geological engineering in 1962. He married Carole Ann Partington in 1965. Ray was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Marvin; and his grandson, Johnathan Nyberg. He is survived by his wife, Carole, Fayetteville; son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Lea Nyberg, Hugo, Minn.; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Rob Mantey, Fayetteville; and five grandchildren, Jacob, Steven, and Daniel Mantey, Fayetteville, and Juliana and Lily Nyberg, Hugo, Minn. Funeral service 10:30 AM Monday, March 19 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St @ Cty Rd B. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Minneapolis.
