Johnson, Ronald Gene age 80 of Edina. Peacefully passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on March 9th surrounded by his loving family. A life long Minneso tan, Ron was born in Minneapolis on January 22, 1938. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1956 followed by Dunwoody Institute. Ron honorably served in the United States Army. He also was a member of the TCA for many years. His entrepreneurial spirit and passion for problem solving led him to create and build two successful businesses. Respected in his industry and loved by his family and countless friends. He will be forever missed. Preceded in death by infant son Terrance, his parents Clarence and Bernice Johnson. Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by Wife, Sharon A. (Lord) Johnson; Daughters, Deborah (Michael) Brocker, Elizabeth Johnson and Rebekah (Mike Paczkowski) Quinlan; grandchildren Benjamin (Courtney), Jennifer (Phillip), Matthew (Tianna), Johnathan (Courtney Lark), Joshua (Amanda), Danielle, Bethany, Rachel, Zechariah, Grant, Michael Jr., Ryan and Reid; a great grandson, Tristan as well as many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Funeral service Friday, March 16th at 11:00AM at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6901 Normandale Rd., Edina. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the donor's favorite charity in memory of Ron.
