Burke, Helen V. "Petey" (nee Peterson) Mom passed away peace- fully in her home on February 7, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by parents, Harold A. and Pauline Peterson; loving husband, Jack; sister, Patricia McDonald. Survived by children, Michael Burke (Ellen), Anne Bumgardner (Tom), Lisa Mevissen (Mark), Patrick Burke, Mary Lynch (Tim), Kathleen Billstrom (Dennis), Diane Smith (Don); 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Petey was involved in multiple bridge groups, Innijiska Club, Kildysart, Friends' Group, T&C Bowling League, Central HS Reunion Group, Ordway Theater Group, Lawyers' Wives, and Guild of Catholic Women. She enjoyed bridge, bowling, golf, tennis, skiing, gardening, and needlework. Petey lit up a room with her beautiful smile and loving nature. She lived every day to the fullest and will be dearly missed by all. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM, Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Assumption Catholic Church (51 W. 7th St, St. Paul). Visitation 4-8 PM, Monday, Feb. 12, at O'Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home (575 Snelling Ave S., 651-698-0796), and 1 hour prior to start of Mass at church Tuesday.
