Notaro, David Martin Age 73, died unexpectedly at home in Mounds View MN, January 20th. He is preceded in death by his parents Martha and Manuel. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 50 years, Joni; his daughters, Deanna (Peter), and Kari (Dan); and his pride and joy, his grandkids, Sydney, Andre, Olivia, and Nora; brothers, Ron (Denise), and Denny (Nola); and many dear in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, longtime friends, and neighbors. We will remember and cherish Dave for his unconditional love. He was passionate about his family and friends, education, hockey, and running. Dave took pride in his service in the Army and was stationed in Germany. He had a master's degree in education, teaching in the classroom before becoming a guidance counselor and dean of students. Dave coached hockey at St. Anthony, Anoka, and Champlin Park High Schools, using cybernetics before it was mainstream. Highlights include being in the state tournament with Anoka and Champlin Park. In retirement he enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends.
