Gantert, John B. Age 90, died Jan 15, 2018 from complications of dementia. He raised his family in New Brighton, MN and retired to Rum River Hills Golf Course in Ramsey, MN. He was a loving Christian father, he loved his family very much. God was so good to give him to us. John loved golf, painting and sculpting. He worked for Dayton's for 42 years and most enjoyed his 20+ years as Special Events Director, planning and creating annual Christmas, Flower, and fashion shows and other Dayton's events. Preceded in death by wife Carolyn. Survived by children Susan Hulbert (Steve), Anthony Gantert, Jeanne Auron (Tom) and grandchildren Sydney and Benjamin. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11 am, Feb. 1, 2018 at St. Katharine Drexel, Ramsey, MN, with visitation 1 hour before Mass. Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice.
