Dougherty, Shirley Mae (Button) of Mounds View, MN, formerly of Roseville and St. Anthony Village, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2018. She was born November 3, 1934 in Winterset, Iowa. Shirley is survived by her loving husband Thomas E. Dougherty; daughters Beth Soll, Linda (Bob) Carmack, and Laura Jordan; stepchildren Colleen (Scott) Corrigan, Mark, Patrick, and Sheila (Alan Kirk) Dougherty; grandchildren, Ben (Caity), Shannon, and Evan Carmack, Andrew (Megan), and Michael Jordan, and Tia, Alex, and Tasia Brodsky; great grandchildren Sam Carmack and Lane Jordan; sister, Patricia Hawbaker, and brother-in-law, John Daly. Preceded in death by her parents; sister Beverly Daly, brother-in-law, Samuel Hawbaker; and step-son Thomas J. Dougherty. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful caregivers at Johanna Shores Presbyterian Home, Gables Building 4th floor, and to Optage Hospice. A memorial service to celebrate Shirley's life will begin at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 with visitation two hours prior to the service all at Washburn McReavy, 706 4th Ave. N.W., New Brighton.
