In the upcoming days there will be a trend for the hottest weather to shiftfrom the central part of the country into the West. California, southern Nevadaand western Arizona will get a sampling of this Saturday as temperatures soarabove 100 degrees.So far June hasn't been very hot at all across this part of the country withlower that normal temperatures occurring from Fresno, California to Phoenix,Arizona. For that matter much of the intermountain region has experienced belownormal temperatures this month which includes the likes of Salt Lake City, Utahand Denver, Colorado.
The heat will gather its forces over the Southwest this weekend then willexpand over a larger portion of the West early next week.
