Drinking and driving is suspected in a single-vehicle rollover crash in central Minnesota that left a Twin Cities motorist dead.

The wreck occurred about 6 p.m. Monday on Hwy. 64, about 2 miles north of Motley in Cass County, according to the State Patrol.

Terrance T. Peterson, 27, of Robbinsdale, was killed. The patrol said it found evidence at the scene that Peterson had been drinking.

His passenger, Rayvon E. Whitfield, 23, of Robbinsdale, was expected to survive his injuries.

The car was heading south on Hwy. 64, entered a ditch to the right and "rolled multiple times," the patrol said in a statement.
