Charges have been thrown out for another of the 12 exotic car drivers ticketed for a high-speed cruise last spring on Interstate 394.

Dung M. Nguyen, 38, of Brooklyn Park, had his case dismissed last week by Hennepin County District Judge Nancy Brasel, who ruled that the State Patrol lieutenant who responded to the call "did not see [Nguyen] violate any law and … he could not identify this defendant as part of any group of cars that was speeding."

There are now five people whose cases have been dismissed, while four have pleaded guilty to being in the pack driving more than 100 miles per hour along I-394 on April 23, 2016. Three cases are pending: David K. Morgan, 26, of St. Louis Park; Swen D. Corbin, 43, of Minnetonka, and Justin M. Krueger, 25, of Beach, N.D.

Many of the drivers ticketed belonged to Corbin's MN Exotics and Supercars, an invitation-only club in the Twin Cities that touts itself as "one of the most exclusive" for high-end cars in Minnesota. Among the models driven that day were Lamborghini, Maserati and McLaren.

The patrol said roughly two dozen sports cars left Morrie's Luxury Auto and headed west on I-394 between Louisiana Avenue and Hwy. 169.

The high-speed cruise occurred in moderate traffic for several miles on westbound I-394, then onto Hwy. 12.
