Powerful thunderstorms will race eastward from the Midwest to the eastern GreatLakes region on Wednesday as the region remains stuck between two contrastingair masses.The strongest storms will likely expand from Illinois and Wisconsin oneastward, reaching western New York and Pennsylvania later in the day. Inaddition to heavy rainfall, the storms will unleash wind gusts in excess of 60mph and perhaps even an isolated tornado.
