Record: The Twins are 26-33 in season openers. The longest winning streak was four openers from 2001-04 (all started by Brad Radke). The longest losing streak was eight openers (2009-2016).

Home-away: The Twins have played 36 season openers on road and 23 at home (five in 21 years at Met Stadium; 15 in 28 seasons in the Metrodome; three in 10 seasons at Target Field).

Quirk: The Twins opened twice in Kansas City's Municipal Stadium, vs. the Athletics in 1962 and the expansion Royals in 1969.
