Theft. Two snowmobiles were reported stolen off a trailer in the 14000 block of NE. Lake Drive.

FEB. 15

Underage consumption. Six teens ages 16 and 17 from Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Greenwood and Shorewood were cited for underage consumption of alcohol after officers responded to a juvenile disturbance near McDonald's, 770 Excelsior Blvd.

Theft. A 2013 Dodge Avenger was reported stolen from the 100 block of NE. Charles Street. A woman had been warming up the car and left it idling.

FEB. 28

Theft. A vehicle was reported stolen from the 1500 block of NW. Bunker Lake Boulevard. The keys had been left in it.

HUGO

FEB. 23

Suspicious activity. A deputy spotted a car parked at a gas pump at Kwik Trip, 14730 Victor Hugo Blvd., whose registered owner, a man, was wanted on felony warrants. A woman pumping gas into the car told the deputy she had bought the car three days before from the man, a family friend who she said sold it because he planned to turn himself in on the warrants.

INDEPENDENCE

FEB. 29

Suspicious activity. An officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a business in the 700 block of Copeland Road. The officer found the vehicle with its lights off and the back seat occupied by a 19-year-old man and 17-year-old girl, both of Delano. The officer spoke to each individually to make sure they were OK and then told them to find a more appropriate place to chat.

LAKEVILLE

WEEK OF FEB. 23-29

Theft. A shopper reported that a male had approached her from behind and snatched the purse off her shoulder at Walmart, 20710 Keokuk Av. The victim chased the suspect, who tossed the purse before jumping into a vehicle waiting outside.

Drunken driving. A 59-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after crashing her vehicle into a snowbank on Huron Path.

LAUDERDALE

MARCH 1

Theft. A truck owner in the 1600 block of Carl Street reported that someone had removed the diesel exhaust filter from his vehicle. He'd found a power saw blade next to the truck.

FEB. 27

Drugs. A 40-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested for suspected possession of narcotics and a warrant after a traffic stop at Interstate 94 and Weaver Lake Road.

FEB. 22

Suspicious person. An officer responded to a resident who reported that someone he didn't know was trying to get into his house in the 5600 block of Main Street. When the officer arrived, the resident recognized the person as his neighbor, who appeared intoxicated. The neighbor's wife was home and took responsibility for her husband.

NEW BRIGHTON

FEB. 22

Burglary. Police received a report that someone had entered an apartment in the 800 block of County Road D, ate some food and then left with a set of keys.

FEB. 27

Theft. Power tools valued at $4,800 were taken from a store in the 500 block of County Road D.

SHAKOPEE

FEB. 28

Underage drinking, driving. A 17-year-old Shakopee boy was cited for alleged driving after license suspension, open bottle, underage drinking and driving, and underage alcohol consumption at Southbridge Parkway and Old Carriage Court.

Drugs. An 18-year-old Lakeville woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance at E. 1st Avenue and Fillmore Street.

TONKA BAY

FEB. 22

Disturbance. Officers responded to a report of teenagers playing ding-dong ditch at a home on Gideons Point Road. They advised the juveniles to stop ringing doorbells and running.
