Before co-writing Showtime's "Escape at Dannemora," Michael Tolkin was exposing the crimes and misdemeanors of the Hollywood elite in the 1992 Robert Altman film "The Player." The cameos may not pack the punch they did 25 years ago, but those of a certain age will still get a kick out of watching Jack Lemmon and Burt Reynolds as glorified extras.

"The Flood" is the latest documentary to use high-tech photography to show animals devouring each other, this time with Africa's Okavango Delta as a setting. There's no connection to Noah's adventures, but narrator Angela Bassett's voice is downright biblical.

"The Soul Train Awards" may have lost some steam since the 2012 passing of chief engineer Don Cornelius, but the ceremonies keep chugging along. Erykah Badu and Faith Evans will receive lifetime achievement awards. Former "Martin" co-stars Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell share hosting duties.
