Today's trophy tales

Chris Dahl, Cologne • 54-inch muskie • Lake Minnetonka

At 8 a.m. of the first day (June 2) of the muskie season, Dahl caught this muskie in 20 feet of water off a deep weed line. After three casts with a Dagon Lure (made in Cologne, Minn., by his neighbor Tim Swanson), the fish took the crank bait. Steve Agrimson, of Chaska, was able to net it. After it was released, the fish made a big splash and drenched everyone in the boat.
