Sophomore guard Maren Westin scored 21 points to help Becker, ranked No. 1 in Class 3A, pull away in the second half for a 60-47 victory over host St. Michael-Albertville, in a nonconference girls' basketball game Thursday.

The Bulldogs (12-0), who won their 36th consecutive game, led 43-41 midway through the second half, before closing the game on a 17-6 run.

Junior Adeline Kent and senior Megan Gamble each scored 10 points for the Bulldogs.

Piper Carlson scored 11 points and Emma Miller 10 for the Knights (7-7).

Boys' basketball

Coon Rapids 103, Rogers 100 [OT]: Junior M.J. Galimah scored a season-high 40 points to help the Cardinals outlast the host Royals. Peyton Belka scored 37 points and Easton Whitcomb 24 for the Royals.

Champlin Park 70, Blaine 55: Francis Nwaokorie scored 26 points and Joshua Strong scored 22 to lead the Rebels, ranked No. 1 in Class 4A, past the host Bengals. The Bengals, who trailed by 14 at halftime, got within six points with 4 minutes, 30 seconds left, but the Rebels (13-0) held on for the victory.

Holy Family 82, SW Christian 80: Braylon Cummings' basket with two seconds remaining lifted the Fire past the visiting Stars. Holy Family (5-7) led by 15 at halftime, but the Stars (9-4) tied the score with about a minute left. Cummings scored 17 points and Greg Stoffel 16 to lead the Fire. Tyson Sandness scored 25 to lead the Stars.

St. Croix Prep 71, Maranatha 45: The Lions, ranked No. 2 in Class 2A, took control late in the first half against the host Mustangs. The Lions (12-1) closed the first half with a 10-0 run and scored the first six points of the second half to open a 40-20 lead. Addison Metcalf scored 27 to lead the Lions. Bailey McDonald scored 12 to lead the Mustangs (8-5).

Boys' hockey

Grand Rapids 3, Moorhead 1: Hunter Bischoff had a goal and assist and Braeden Holcomb had two assists to help the Thunderhawks, ranked No. 5 in Class 2A, skate past the visiting Spuds. The Thunderhawks (8-1) were playing for the first time since Feb. 11.

Holy Angels 5, St. Paul Johnson 2: Carter Hermanson scored three goals, including two in the third period, to lead the Stars (8-3) past the Governors at Richfield Ice Arena. Sam Schaffer had a goal and two assists for Holy Angels.

Red Wing 10, Austin 2: Senior forward Evan Petersmeyer had three goals and two assists as the host Wingers ended a seven-game losing streak.

Girls' hockey

Chisago Lakes 4, Minneapolis 2: Dani Brunette scored two goals and Dani Burgen had a goal and three assists to lead the host Wildcats, ranked No. 1 in Class 1A, to their ninth consecutive victory. Brunette, a junior who has committed to Minnesota Duluth, scored midway through the second period to break a 1-1 tie. Her second goal extended the Wildcats' lead to 3-1. Burgen, also a junior, has committed to MSU Mankato.

East Ridge 4, Stillwater 3: Emma Fetch scored two goals to help the Raptors outlast the host Ponies, ranked No. 6 in Class 2A. Fetch's second goal broke a 2-2 tie early in the second period. Bella Schmidt, who had an assist on the tiebreaking goal, scored about four minutes later to make it 4-2. Veda Roeske scored with 11 minutes remaining to pull the Ponies within 4-3. Stillwater outshot the Raptors 12-2 in the third period. East Ridge goalie Annika Limpert had 34 saves.
