St. Louis will be among cities that will be covered by up to 6 inches of snow from the storm. Louisville and Cincinnati are also in line for this much snow, with most of it falling tonight into early Monday.

A southward blast of trailing arctic air and gusty winds will also trigger a little snow and a wintry mix over Oklahoma and northern Texas into Arkansas and western Tennessee.
