Theft. Two 16-year-old boys were cited for theft after they were caught shoplifting at Mills Fleet Farm, 1935 Levi Griffin Road.

EDINA

OCT. 10

Theft. A 59-year-old Edina woman was arrested for theft in the 7000 block of York Avenue S.

OCT. 11

Disorderly conduct. Three 16-year-old boys were arrested for disorderly conduct in the 3900 block of 50th Street.

OCT. 14

Burglary. A ring valued at $4,000 was stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Virginia Avenue.

INDEPENDENCE

OCT. 13

Check welfare. Officers responded to a report of a person either unconscious or dead at a home in the 4200 block of Lake Sarah Drive. They found the resident awake and sitting in a chair watching TV. She told officers she had just awakened from a short nap and eaten. No medical issues were found. The caller, who delivers meals to the resident, was advised of the situation and given some helpful suggestions when calling 911 and talking to dispatchers.

Assault. Officers responded to a report of an assault at Vinland Center, 3675 Ihduhapi Road. A 49-year-old man was cited for assault after hitting another man because he was upset about the condition of the bathroom they share at the facility.

OCT. 11

Animal complaint. Someone reported a loose llama in the 900 block of Navajo Road. Officers were unable to find it.

Animal complaint. Officers responded to a report of a cow on the bike trail at Medina and Railroad streets. When they arrived, they found the cow's owner was corralling it into a fenced area.

OCT. 14

Drunken driving. A 45-year-old Minnetrista man was arrested for drunken driving after he was involved in a single vehicle crash on County Road 110 N.

Weapon. A 39-year-old Hamburg man was arrested for terroristic threats, possession of a dangerous weapon and carrying a pistol under the influence of alcohol in the 100 block of Main Street E.

RICHFIELD

OCT. 6

Robbery. Officers responded to a report of a robbery at Walgreens, 12 W. 66th St. They learned that a man had stolen a woman's purse and thrown her to the ground. The 34-year-old Minneapolis man was found and arrested for robbery.

OCT. 10

Theft. A 59-year-old Richfield woman was arrested for theft of prescription drugs in the 7700 block Chicago Avenue S.

OCT. 12

Drugs. An officer spotted a suspicious vehicle at Motel 6, 7640 Cedar Av. S. An 18-year-old St. Paul woman and a 31-year-old St. Paul man were arrested for possession of narcotics.

OCT. 13

Drugs. An 18-year-old Minnetrista man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1600 block of Community Drive.

OCT. 14

Drugs. An 18-year-old Norwood Young America woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Hwy. 5 and Olive Street S.
