Signing off

After four critically acclaimed seasons, "Being Mary Jane" is closing out with a two-hour film in which we'll learn whether Gabrielle Union's title character and Michael Ealy's Justin live happily ever after. The long goodbye is followed by the premiere of "Games People Play," a sports-based soap set in Los Angeles.

Open for business

"Boss: The Black Experience in Business" is a little more academic than past documentaries from Stanley Nelson, whose past projects include the soaring "Freedom Summer." That may be because the director crams way too many tales into one film. The rise and fall of Tulsa's "Black Wall Street" would have been more than enough to chew on for the entire running time.

Time after time

The docuseries "1969" turns back the clock by a half-century, starting with an episode about man landing on the moon. Future installments focus on Woodstock, Chappaquiddick, the Black Panthers and Woodstock. Grammy-nominated producer Salaam Remi, who wasn't even alive during that pivotal year, has contributed new music to the project.
