The heavy accumulation of wet snow could disrupt travel in an area of westernTexas and southeastern New Mexico between Monday and Tuesday afternoons.Soaking rain will turn to wet snow in an area spanning El Paso through Midland.

A heavy accumulation of wet snow measuring 6 inches or more could occur in thisregion. The highest accumulation would most likely happen over hilly tracts ofthe western Texas Panhandle and southern New Mexico.

Accumulating snow will have the potential to snarl travel along interstatehighways I-10 and I-20 in the corridor between Midland and El Paso.
