A man working on a farm in central Minnesota became pinned between two pieces of farm equipment and was killed, authorities said Monday.

The incident occurred on property in the 34000 block of 260th Street in Lake Henry Township, roughly 11 miles north of Paynesville, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.

A man who lives on the property found James Logan, 42, of nearby Belgrade, unresponsive wedged between a backhoe bucket and a utility trailer around 3:30 p.m. Friday, the Sheriff's Office said.

Emergency personnel began lifesaving efforts, but Logan was declared dead at the scene.
