Lynx face youthful Wings club

Preview: The Lynx (2-0) are coming off a 90-71 victory over the Liberty in New York on Thursday. The Lynx, with five players scoring in double figures, pulled away in the second half, outscoring it 47-31. The well-rested Wings, with seven players in their first or second season, opened with a 68-58 victory over Phoenix on Sunday.

Players to watch: Lynx F Maya Moore was just 6-for-18 from the field against the Liberty, but had 16 points, 11 rebounds and six assists (all team-highs). Lynx F Rebekkah Brunson needs just one rebound to became the fifth player in WNBA history to reach 3,000 in her career. Wings rookie guards Kaela Davis (20 points) and Allisha Gray (11), both first-round draft choices who played for NCAA champion South Carolina, paced Dallas past the Mercury.

Numbers: The Wings have five rookies who were selected in the WNBA draft in April — the most since the Lynx had six in 2000. The Lynx have held opponents to under 40 percent from the field in 36 consecutive games.

Injuries: Dallas F Aerial Powers (hip) and Dallas rookie F Evelyn Akhator (ankle) are questionable.
