Lowly Fever can't be overlooked

Preview: Both teams are coming off an up-and-down week. The mercurial Lynx (11-8) lost at Chicago 77-63 on Saturday, two days after an 11-point victory over Los Angeles. Two days before the victory over the Sparks, the Lynx were stunned at home by Indiana 71-59. Two days after defeating the Lynx, Indiana (2-17) lost at Dallas 90-63. Minnesota's 14-point loss on Saturday equaled its worst of the season, while Indiana's 27-point loss to Dallas was its worst of the season. The Lynx had won 14 of the previous 15 meetings with the Fever.

Players to watch: Lynx F Maya Moore is averaging 18.9 points and has made at least one three-pointer in 18 consecutive games. Reserve G Tanisha Wright scored nine points — her most in 11 games — against Chicago on Saturday. Indiana G Kelsey Mitchell is averaging a team-high 14.4 points per game. G Cappie Pondexter has scored 12 points in each of her two games with the Fever. Pondexter, in her 13th WNBA season, averaged 3.6 points per game in 13 games with Los Angeles before being released June 28.

Numbers: Lynx G Seimone Augustus, who is averaging a career-low 10.4 points per game, scored 11 points Saturday. The Lynx are 8-3 when Augustus scores in double figures.

Injuries: Lynx F Rebekkah Brunson (thigh) is doubtful and F Cecilia Zandalasini (ankle) is questionable.
