Preview: The Lynx (3-4) defeated Atlanta 100-80 at Target Center on Sunday for their third consecutive victory. The Lynx, who are 0-2 on the road this season, defeated the Mystics 79-68 on May 8 at Target Center in their only preseason game. The Mystics (2-5) are coming off a 96-93 loss to Las Vegas at home on Saturday. The Mystics, who trailed the Aces by 13 with just over four minutes remaining, used a 13-0 run to tie the game with one minute to play.

Players to watch: Lynx G Rachel Banham had a season-high 13 points — in 15 minutes — in the victory over Atlanta on Sunday. Banham and G Kayla McBride were a combined 7-for-10 from three-point range in the victory. C Tina Charles, in her first season with the Mystics, leads the WNBA in scoring (25.1 points per game) and is seventh in rebounding (8.4 per game). G Natasha Cloud is sixth in league in assists (5.1 per game). G Ariel Atkins is averaging a career-high 17.9 points per game.

Numbers: The Lynx and Mystics split last season's two games after the Mystics went 3-0 against the Lynx in 2019, when Washington won the WNBA championship.

Injuries: For the Lynx F Damiris Dantas (back) is questionable and F Aerial Powers (hamstring) and G Rennia Davis (foot) are out indefinitely. For the Mystics, G Sydney Wiese (ankle) is questionable and F Elena Delle Donne (back) is out indefinitely. Delle Donne, the two-time WNBA MVP who sat out 2020, is recovering from back surgery.
