Funeral services are Saturday for a driver who was killed near Faribault, Minn., when her vehicle veered into the path of an oncoming semitrailer truck.

Katie L. Kohlman, 27, of Holloway, Minn., was heading east on Hwy. 60 toward Faribault, where her car strayed into the westbound lane and collided head-on with the big rig, according to the State Patrol.

Kohlman was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale and died just before midnight on Oct. 26, less than eight hours after the crash, the Hennepin County medical examiner's office said Wednesday.

The semi's driver, Joel L. Harms, 46, of St. Peter, Minn., survived his injuries, the patrol said.

A memorial service for Kohlman is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton, Minn.
