First yellow card: The Loons' Ozzie Alonso on NYCFC's Maximiliano Moralez in the eighth minute.
First goal: In the 13th minute Alonso scored on a powerful volley from 8 yards directly in front of the goal after an NYCFC player headed out a Rodriguez header angling for the net.

First big oops: NYCFC keeper Sean Johnson turned the most innocent of long balls played back to him into a weird own goal after he tried to switch the ball from one foot to the other and it got away.
