A 28-year-old has been sentenced for being one of three men who raped a girl in a St. Paul apartment soon after she met one of them at a bus stop.

Tyresse McKay, of Minneapolis, was sentenced Tuesday in Ramsey County District Court to a five-year term for the daytime attack on the girl in May 2016.

With credit for time in jail since his arrest, McKay will serve the first 2¾ years in prison and the balance on supervised release after pleading guilty to third-degree criminal sexual conduct. A first-degree criminal sexual conduct charge was dismissed.

The other two suspects have yet to be arrested or charged, police and the county attorney's office said Thursday.

According to the complaint: The girl said she got on a westbound light-rail train about 10 a.m. in St. Paul and encountered a man in Minneapolis at a bus stop who told her his name was June.

She went with June, later identified as McKay, to an apartment near the Oxford Community Center in St. Paul. She told police that McKay and the other two men raped her.

McKay made the girl sleep next to him on the kitchen floor and forced her to shower the next morning. At some point, she fled the apartment and called for help from the community center.
