Available with a six-foot-long cargo box and offered in Work Truck, SL and SLE trim levels, the mid-size GMC pickup truck is powered by one of two strong engines: a 2.9L four-cylinder engine or a 3.7L five-cylinder. Both are equipped with variable valve timing. The engine is connected to a five-speed manual gearbox or the optional smooth-shifting Hydra-Matic 4L60 electronic four-speed automatic transmission.
Drivers desiring a more rugged look and performance can select the popular Z71 Off-Road package, now available in both 2WD and 4WD models, offering distinctive visual cues to augment the 4WD suspension differential.
