Kern, Kenneth D. known to his loved ones as Kenny, passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on August 14, 2023, at his home in Minneapolis, MN. Kenny is survived by his brother, Micheal Kern, and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his father, John (Jack), his mother, Dorothy, and his sisters, Jackie, Shirley, and Valerie. Kenny proudly served his country in the US Army. In his free time, Kenny enjoyed various hobbies. He had a passion for travel and had the opportunity to explore many places, but his favorite destination was the Black Hills. Kenny also had a deep admiration for Elvis Presley and enjoyed the legendary musician. A ceremony to honor Kenny's life and military service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on October 4th at 1:30 PM.
