McGowan, Richard J. age 93, of Spring Park, died peacefully on June 2, 2023. Preceded in death by wife, Darlene; parents Nellie and William McGowan; brothers William and Robert McGowan; sisters Birdie Murphy, Betty Lamb, and Dorothy Tillmans. Survived by daughters Pam Kuntuzos, Lynn (Gene) Zang, Nancy (Nick) Schlee; grandchildren Megan (Riley) Becker, AJ Schlee, Shannon (Spenser) Bland; great grandchildren Charlotte and Ronan Becker; brother Ken McGowan; many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Mass on Tuesday, June 13th at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 2385 Commerce Boulevard, Mound. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church, refreshments following the Mass. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with military honors on Tuesday, June 27th at 9 am.
