Cooper, Ragland Lindsay, Jr. 75, of Robbinsdale, passed on June 2, 2023. He was born on December 11, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, where he was raised. He attended the University of Minnesota on a football scholarship as a running back. He met his wife while working at Soo Line Railroad in Minneapolis, and they were married for 30 years. Ragland was an avid skier; he and his wife, Nancy Anderson, loved to take winter vacations at ski resorts across the country. As an animal lover, the two of them always had cats and dogs around the house. For Ragland, the highlight of each summer was the State Fair. Look for the memorial bench near the Horticulture Center with Nancy Anderson's name on it. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; and parents, Ragland and Ruth. He is survived by his daughter, Yvonne Clevenger; and son, Bryant Cooper. A celebration of life for Ragland Cooper and Nancy Anderson will be held at Hidden Hills Stables in Buffalo on Saturday, July 15 from 2-4 pm.
