Thomas, Scott Michael April 12, 1961 - June 2, 2023 Scott passed away suddenly from cardiac arrest while doing what he loved best, riding his bike on the trails of Elm Creek Park. He was born on April 12, 1961 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Marge and Martin Thomas. He graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School in 1979. Scott was a 38-year employee with Honeywell/Alliant Techsystems/ATK/Orbital ATK/Northrop Grumman. His recent role was as an Engineering Technician Manager where he felt he had the most amazing technicians that not only reported to him but were great friends. In his free time, Scott was usually outdoors and doing something active. He loved road and mountain biking, cross-country skiing, yard work, chopping firewood, and the chain saw. Words from those that loved him most: warm hugs, good listener, supportive, selfless, knack for using biggest tool for even small jobs, patient, king of transactions (under $15), always willing to help, had the most amazing hostas, nicest guy and always so welcoming. He has been reunited with his mother, father and brother-in-law Gary Hinnenkamp. He leaves behind Terri Bieber, his son Alex Thomas (Samantha, Leo (6), Logan (10)), daughter Amanda Thomas, grandson Cameron Thomas (1), the Koivisto family who he loved like his own, Trista, Tim, Eiley (21), Brin (19) and Kate (17), brother Jeff Thomas (Rhonda), sister Laura Hinnenkamp, sister Barb Warner (Jim) and many nieces and nephews.
