Wiebe, Georgia C. age 87, of Wayzata, lovingly greeted the Lord on May 22, 2023. Survived by forever loving husband, Harry; sisters, Dolly Kordaris and Margo Kosmas; 10 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother, Peter Kosmas; sister, Elaine Kallas. Georgia had a remarkable teaching career with Minneapolis Public Schools. She was a member of the AAUW - American Association of University Women. She was also a very active member of St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church. Georgia was an award winning quilt maker, gifting many of her quilts to family members. Georgia was a self- taught gardener whose creations were delights of the neighborhood. Funeral service 11am Wednesday May 31st with visitation beginning at 10am at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church, 3450 Irving Avenue South, Minneapolis. Interment Lakewood Cemetery.
